Stars was recorded and improvised after being inspired by Jay & Jo’s ‘Canteloupe Moon’. The beauty and simplicity of a heart-felt waltz that caught the attention of Jesse Brown on a long drive home from constructing his family’s cabin. It was recorded on a very small upright piano with the felt ‘practice’ pedal engaged for a very soft and intimate listening experience.
